Making a link is easy!

Just Type:
<a href="http://www.yourwebsiteurlhere.com">Click Here</a>

Your link changes to a navish blue color, unless you change the color of your fonts (find out how below), So When your viewer clicks on the link, they will be taken to your website url!

DON'T FORGET: the space between the a & href!! It's needed to make your link work!

LINKING IMAGES

<a href="http://www.yoururl.com"><img src="http://www.websiteurl.com/image.gif"></a>

Now, when you link an image, there will be a navy blue border around your image. you can rid of it by putting:

<a href="http://www.yoururl.com"><img src="http://www.yoururl.com/image.gif" border="0"></a>

CHANGING YOUR LINK COLORS

Here is the code to change your link attributes:

<body font="#color" link="#color" alink="#color" vlink="#color">

And here are what they mean:

  • Link= This will change the link color to whatever color you choose
  • ALink= This is when somebody clicks on a link, it changes to this color
  • VLink= Changes the color of a link that has been visited already
